Welcome to Lighthouse Art Therapy, my name is Manny Soora and I am an art psychotherapist with experience of working with both adults and children. I can offer individual sessions (in-person or online) and group sessions (in-person only). I have experience of working in CAMHS as an Art Psychotherapist, supporting children and young people.
I can help both adults and children who have suffered with the following:
- Low self-esteem
- Depression
- Mental Health issues
- Experienced physical and emotional abuse
- Eating disorders
- Bullying
- Self-harm
- Suicidal thoughts
- ASD/ADHD/Behavioural issues
I use psychodynamic, psychoeducation and mentalization approaches, suited to the individual or group.
I am located at Out of the Blue Drill Hall, 36 Dalmeny Street, Edinburgh EH6 8RG.
Sessions are available between Monday to Saturday 10.30am to 8pm. Please contact me for availability.

To practice as an art therapist or art psychotherapist in the UK, it is a legal requirement to complete a training course validated by the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC).The HCPC also maintains a register of qualified art therapists.
